Facilitating coaching and quality improvement
There are number of routes to achieving the lead practitioner gold level but the key aim is to equip improvement leaders with a combination of QI and coaching skills who can help embed and support quality improvement activities and maintain a sustainable improvement culture within their organisations.
The role of the lead practitioner is to support improvers at a local level and help ensure the success of their improvement work. It will also enable you to learn new skills or fine tune existing ones.
As a lead practitioner you will be part of a group who will represent an expert resource to promote quality improvement in healthcare settings, able to contribute to knowledge in the field and to lead, along with others, a culture of change and innovation throughout the healthcare organisation in which they work.
The quality improvement lead practitioners will deploy their skills across their organisation and will be part of structures and teams across local health and care settings.
